Re: Favorite character you've met?
Cub, was this stitch at DAK? When we took pictures with Stitch there he "hammed up" the camera striking about twelve poses in rapid succession. Very fun. I think meeting Rapunzel and Flynn Rider at the MK was lots of fun for us. I asked Flynn to show us "the smoulder" and he did....

Re: Advice for first DisneyLand trip
Thanks for all the great advice. I thought there was some way to watch the World of Color from the roof of the Grand Californian -- much like you can watch the MK fireworks from Bay Lake Towers - or the California Grill. Right now we think we may do the picnic lunch box thing. I though it was odd as...

Re: Advice for first DisneyLand trip
Well it was a good shot, but the vouchers only appear to be good with special Disneyland vacation package deals. I thought I might be able to wrap it in with an admission ticket, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

Re: Advice for first DisneyLand trip
What great help! I hadn't heard of their "vouchers". We had tried to make dinner reservations, but unlike WDW, they only make them 60 days out. Now I'm kind of glad we hadn't yet. Spring break varies from state-to-state and even school district to school district, so we'll just have to be ...

Re: Advice for first DisneyLand trip
We're staying in the Grand Californian. We figured we'd do one park a day and pick up any "must see agains" for the last day. Has Star Tours been upgraded in DL? We saw the new version this summer at WDW, but my youngest DD wasn't 40", so she wants to see it now.

Advice for first DisneyLand trip
Okay, so after countless trips to WDW we are finally boarding a plane and going to DL next Spring. This will be the first time for all of us. We're pretty Disney savvy as far as WDW, but clueless for DL. We'll be at the resort for three days and three nights. So what are the absolute "Must Sees...

Re: Where In the World Are Phineas and Ferb?
Yes. They were in HS last weekend. They were just outside the Animation Courtyard, but not under that hat where the main characters normally are. We didn't stop to take a photo or I'd post it.

Re: Woman arrested at Disney's Magic Kingdom
While in the parks I've seen several instances of unhappy parents verbally (and physically) direct their tired frustation at their even more tired children, but never something like this.

I was just there last weekend. It was closed on Saturday, but had re-opened on Tuesday. My DD was very excited since she didn't get to ride it on Sat.

Re: Resort Hotel Drinking Mugs
I think you're right. I would never dream of using my Mara mug while staying at Port Oleans. I would stick out and it would show that I was, ahem, exploiting the system. But now that they all look the same, there's nothing stopping me from bringing a mug back to another resort -- other than a guilt ...

Finding Nemo, definitely. The Candle Light Processional is great to see during a Christmas visit.
I used to like the Hunchback show at DHS. They still haven't done anything with that space.

Re: Resort Hotel Drinking Mugs
It's not the exploitation of the system that bothers me (probably because I have been guilty of it in the past  ) as much as the generic apperance that is now being produced. I no longer use/buy the mugs because it's not unique anymore. I have a Mara mug, a Port Orleans Mug, an All Stars Mug a...

You know there's a digital camera out on the market now that takes panoramic shots - without having to merge photos in photoshop! Unfortunately, I can't remember which camera it is. Anyone have an idea of which digital camera can take panoramic shots? It's a Sony camera, the Cyber-shot, I think, bu...
