we've never been there. as we filled in the blank for our last dining plan reservation, this place was the front runner (and the only one w/out previous dining experience). anyone have a knowledge of this place? the menu looks good, in general the reviews are good, but what do subsonicers think abou...

Re: Ideas on new Haunted Mansion que

"RFID" tickets sounds like a "GREAT" way for Disney to help with ID theft!! I know I wouldn't want my ticket to carry personnel info on it that can be accessed by radio!! It "CAN"T" be protected, remember that the next time you're on your blue tooth!! had all my e...

it's better than that. a princess meet-n-greet is going in the space of a walt original, not a ride. how do you feel now?

Re: Most Attractions in a Day...?

Another interesting twist to this thread is comparing the amounts of "rides" (self explanatory) vs. "attractions" (shows) vs. "experiences" (characters, dining, etc.). Everyone has their own balance of the three that makes the trip perfect for them. absolutely right, a...

Re: Lagoon Views at the Polynesian

I have to admit, when I get a room at Disney - the view is the last thing I think of because you're right - if you're at the park all day, you're not going to spend much time at night enjoying the view. i think this is more of an adults, not so much family kind of thing. i love the river running th...

Re: Most Attractions in a Day...?

I hadn't considered that they would make you experience more attractions in a day. I was actually thinking children would make you take a slower pace through the parks. I guess that would depend on the ages of the children. Younger ones might make the trip a little slower paced and require more tim...

Re: Lagoon Views at the Polynesian

I live in New Hampshire so I have the ocean nearby too, but can definitely still appreciate the daily view of the 7 Seas Lagoon. It's also having the white sandy beach out front with the tiki torches, watching the ferries and the monorail going by, seeing the Grand Floriddian and Contemporary lit u...

Re: Most Attractions in a Day...?

I would guess the addition of children changes how you experience the parks as well. I know from this past trip, my Mom was a bit slower getting around which affected the trip. I still like to go, go, go though ;) whoops, almost forgot about them. yes, that's right, but we were talking about it bef...

Re: Most Attractions in a Day...?

the first time back, as an adult, probably 15 or 20 years since my childhood visit, it was that way. we tried to hit as many rides as possible. racing around, it was kinda fun, but really left us tired. we enjoyed that trip so much that we've been returning every year since. so we started integratin...

Re: Most Attractions in a Day...?

i do keep track of the rides we ride each day. at the end of the day, we write down what we've done, in the sequence it happened. i feel pretty weak posting this, but after reviewing what i thought was a banner year for most rides ever accomplished in a single day... it turns out on 2 seperate days ...

Don't worry -if they can spend the money elsewhere, they will. It doesn't seem the JC is one of their top priorities. Oh, it's on their top 5 to do list. TDO just doesn't want to spend the money on JC and spend it elsewhere. Seem it's always stuck at number 5... Are there still movie rumors ...

I don't remember there be any FP for Phil when I was there back on Dec. 4th. at the end of oct., early nov. when we were there, i can't recall if the machines were there or not. i can tell you that there was no need for them. the place doesn't ever even come close to getting half full anymore. also...

Re: Mission: SPACE!

Huge tip for everyone: Do not ride Mission: Space just after eating, if you haven't eaten for a long time!!! Good tip. It will leave you worrying if dinner will stay down. I did orange right after a meal at Le Cellier. It was about 20 minutes after leaving the restaurant and I definitely should hav...
