Re: What do you like collecting when at the parks?

I collect free stuff. Here are a couple of items from an earlier trip. I'm pretty sure their from 1972. Can you believe we drove from California. http://i963.photobucket.com/albums/ae119/Searlproudbottom/41341a82-85d8-4d1b-b286-9c3af6436b86.jpg http://i963.photobucket.com/albums/ae119/Searlproudbott...

Re: DVC Disney Vacation Club

Hello All We have been avid Disney fans since a long, long time ago. We were hooked on the Polynesian and stayed their many times. Then along came children and the added cost didn't make our trips affordable, but it did make us think. There are Disney fans who feel that a Disney Resort is just a pla...

Plus, isn't the Jungle Cruise itself inspired by the live action True Life Adventure films? Sources of inspiration for the Jungle Cruise include a 1955 True-Life Adventure, "The African Lion," about a pride of lions, and the film The African Queen. Imagineer Harper Goff referenced the Afr...

Re: DHS Park Changes and Transformation

Next time your over DS pay attention to what the crowds are doing along Sunset Blvd. My family and I are one of those many people that walk straight down Sunset Blvd. without stopping, ride R&R, TOT and then back. We have been in every shop more than once. They all sell Disney Merchandise so to...

Re: DHS Park Changes and Transformation

Reality is, not everyone shares the "rides rides rides" mindset, and I argue that as many as 3/4 the people who go to Disney parks are willing to pay the high price of admission because it is more than rides. It's the whole experience. I agree, I am one of those 3/4. That said you have to...

Re: DHS Park Changes and Transformation

So here are just a few of my thoughts on the new announcements that came from 2015 D23. They are not intended to offend anyone. I am still on the fence regarding the changes to the Disney Studios. Mostly because of my disappointment of the Fantasyland expansion. Is it me or was their way to much hyp...

Reading the subject of this tread has brought out the evil in my personality.

I would love to be in control of the Tea Cups.

Re: Rental cars from MCO

Over the years we had always used ME and either We Go Shop or Garden Grocer. We always had good luck using them. But in 2013 we stayed at the Bay Lake Tower and included Vero Beach to our vacation. That was the first time we rented a car. I must say that renting a car was the Greatest. We saved lots...

I wish I could remember some of the older rides. Before kids we only visited once every six or seven years.
I can only remember that we had a good time.

Re: Jungle Cruise jokes

I like the Jungle Cruise a lot. I have come to the conclusion that its not just the joke that is entertaining but the skipper who delivers that joke. Some Skippers are much better than others. When we were there back in 2012 there was a younger female Skipper that must have worked nights as a stand ...
