Re: Another MagicBand question

So we're heading down there in June, not staying on property so we got regular card tickets. Does anyone know if those can be traded in for the MagicBands if we want to, once we arrive? Mine is an Annual Pass redemption. Are those on MagicBands or still cards? (My concern is if I get a band, my 4 a...

Re: Refurbishment News

If you park hop, you might want to stop in to guest relations at your second park and see if they can do anything. From my last experience, it seems that sometimes they are able to "override" certain aspects of the system. Hope that helps.

Re: Does anybody collect pins?

I've bought a bunch of pins, but the funny part is that I never bought a pin inside WDW. Here's a small sample of the pins I have mixed with some non-Disney pins. See a theme? http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w251/budz211/8467766a.jpg I plan on spending $100 on my next trip to WDW on pins. They w...

Re: What's the FIRST thing you do at WDW?

For the last few trips, we have done the red eye from the west coast, usually arriving into Orlando around 6:30 - 8:30 in the morning. We grab the rental car, throw the suitcases in the trunk and then we're off to Magic Kingdom. Couldn't really imagine it any other way. :-)

Re: The Magic, The Memories, and You!

I thought it said it was taking the photos from PhotoPass at the parks? Oh, I didn't read the article, I was going on what they had been saying on tv about sending in your photos and videos. I recall seeing someting on Facebook recently indicating you could send in photos. I'll have to go ba...

Sounds like a good plan.

We just missed the show the last time we were there. :-( Will have to definitely make sure we catch it next time.

Re: The Magic, The Memories, and You!

I would presume all of WDW, as no other park is doing a projection show like the MK. I just wonder who's job it is to sort through all those photos and pick the 500 to use each day? I would guess it is more of a random process. There would be thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of photos taken ...

Re: What is your favorite retired ride?

Agreed on the music of EPCOT. I really miss Tomorrow's Child on the descent in Spaceship Earth :([/quote] Yeah, that one specifically. I was laying in bed the other night listening to Subsonic on my IPad and the instrumental of Tomorrow's Child came on and I just entered this very intense level of c...

Re: WDW Micro Trip Report: MouseSurplus 12/11/10

Is anyone out there going to WEDCON in September? Also, have any of you been to anything like this before? Taking a look at the website, it doesn't seem like there has been much activity lately, and also it doesn't seem to me like there is enough to fill three whole days. Just curious what takes pla...

Re: You know you're a WDW nut when...

How 'bout: if you're a lifelong Floridian, and know firsthand that summer is no time to be outside, but you visit WDW between the months of June-September anyway? Because I've done that (and I'm about to do it again this weekend) and it really makes me worry about my sanity! I'm sure there are a fe...

Sounds like a competition that should be posted in the game area... Sounds more like a challenge and I think we know Madeye will win. The only one I know is Bear Creek road and I only know that because it is on the marathon route. Not to mention it is a back road that if a guest is caught on,...
