Re: Be Our Guest Restaurant

The restaurant looks amazing! I hope the food quality lives up to the quality of the setting and decor! MK could use a quality table service (that hopefully is consistent!). So excited for Fantasyland Forrest!

Re: What ride/attraction won't you ride?

Rides I won't ride... let's see... Space Mountain, Rockin' Rollercoaster, ToT, and Everest. I've ridden Splash twice and think that's it for life. Big Thunder is about as daring as I get. I'm a giant baby and think drops are about the worst thing ever. Then there's the motion sickness issue so no Mi...

Re: Royal Guest Rooms

Right, I totally agree with what everyone is saying. I taylor my resort to the type of trip I'll be taking. If it's a three day weekend and I know I'll be at the parks a lot, I will stay at Pop Century since I won't be in the room or resort that much, since then it doesn't justify paying extra for a...

Haha, that's great! I didn't even notice I reverted back to the old name. Good thing we're in good company - people who know what "Dixie Landings" and "Communicore" are.

Re: Royal Guest Rooms

I agree that the rooms look incredibly nice. Given the premium, I think they are something I may upgrade for a night or two on a longer stay at Dixie Landings. This way you could get the expereince of the Royal rooms, but not the price tag for an entire trip. [That and Alligator Bayou is just so coo...

Re: Is your Disney vacation a benefit to your health?

It certainly can't be bad for your health! It is definitely refreshing. However, the little while after we leave to go back home is certainly NOT good for your health! Especially when you have to get up early the day after you return and have to work  :( Couldn't agree more - coming down fro...

Re: You know you're a WDW nut when...

Unfortunately, if Fuji took over, we'd probably lose Figment unless the companies have gotten over their Fuji - Kodak rivalry. Isn't the back story that Figment was originally designed to be green, but Kodak said that was a no-go since Fuji's main color is green? I agree that it's time for a refresh...

Re: Is your Disney vacation a benefit to your health?

If thinking of it as a "healthy vacation" helps you justify more trips, then I fully support that. :) I figure all the walking justifies a lot of premium Mickey bars and strawberry tarts from France. I second the comment about it being good for mental health - it's nice to leave the "...

Re: Decorating Disneyworld for the Holidays?

They put all the Christmas decorations up well before the parade. Surprisingly, they actually take some down for the parade filming due to cameras, stages, and the stage for the announcers. Christmas decorations start going up the minute the last MNSSHP ends at MK. Epcot usually trails behind MK and...

Re: Favorite show at WDW?

I'm team FOLK. Nemo is very good, but I prefer Festival of the Lion King. Maybe that's because "Just Keep Swimming" gets stuck in my head for the remainder of the day, or days.
