Re: New FP+ and midnight at the computer

I just thought of something that may be giving you problems. Each restaurant has a party size cut off for booking online. If I remember correctly, some start as low as 8 or 9. Once your party hits that limit, you have to call the restaurant directly to make the reservation. For some strange reason,...

Re: Favorite Dinner and Breakfeast Buffets

Best dinner food is Cape May hands down, but nothing can beat Chef Mickey's for guest experience! Best breakfast is Boma, really unbelievable... how delicious! °o° We enjoyed Cape May for the Character Breakfast but it sure is difficult to try and get to any other resort for breakfast early in the ...

Re: New FP+ and midnight at the computer

Great advice and information, Poly Princess! I will continue to check (probably daily) because I'm determined to get all of our reservations booked! It just kills me that even last night I was on my phone around 1am and couldn't find anything. And I'm not even searching for a specific time...just se...

Re: New FP+ and midnight at the computer

Would Be Our Guest really not have reservations available by 6am of the 180 day in advance time line?? It's definitely a possibility. Online reservations open at midnight, plus people staying on property can book up to 190 days out (the first day of your trip has to reach 180, but you can book for ...

Re: September 2015 Trip!

The number of rides really isn't that limited. While a few attractions may be closed, they are typically the ones that tend to draw small crowds. I've only been to MVMCP once and it was a few years ago, but the lines were no better or worse than they were at other points in the day. If you want the...

Re: September 2015 Trip!

I'm sure you are right that with such a huge amount of events, characters, special experiences, etc that they do have to sell quite a lot of tickets to balance things out. Still a bummer though when you think you'll be able to do more of the rides that maybe you could not do during the day, but some...

Re: September 2015 Trip!

Very exciting! We will be there about a month later than you. I'm looking forward to the nice fall weather and HOPING for smaller crowds. (yeah right! hehe) We went to MNSSHP a couple of years back and we definitely had a great time. Our whole family dressed up as Peter Pan characters...lots of fun....

I hadn't heard anything about bus times being posted. Is that really happening? How would that work? And when?
That would be a huge help, for sure!!!

Re: Disney's $1 Billion Bet on a Magical Wristband - Wired

if they REALLY want to improve time in the park and experiences, I would suggest upping the transportation all around the park - making it easier for guests to go back and forth from their hotel and the park without it taking up too much time. But that's just me. :-) I agree with this! We normally ...

Re: New FP+ and midnight at the computer

I think it depends on how particular you are about what you want. If you absolutely must have a fastpass for SDMT at 1:15 pm on June 24th, it might be worth staying up to ensure you get it. But if you're more flexible and simply want a SDMT fastpass at some point during your trip, waiting probably ...

Re: Disney's $1 Billion Bet on a Magical Wristband - Wired

Such an interesting article. I enjoy reading the thought process behind it all, as I struggle with the idea of having to plan everything so far in advance. I'm even to the point of waiting until midnight when everything opens for us to try and start scheduling. I'm trying to remain open-minded abou...

Re: Skipper's Cantina Restaurant

I'm trying to think about what would be another fun themed restaurant after a ride.... Haunted Mansion! Gracey Mountain Ballroom restaurant. That's a good one! A similar idea would work well at ToT. Maybe they "reopened" the hotel's restaurant. Ohhh I would love BOTH of those! Think of th...

Re: New FP+ and midnight at the computer

I am already starting to freak out about booking our FP+ and I still have a couple of weeks before we are 160 days out! We have 6 adult 2 kids and 2 infants going, so booking everything and making sure timing works with naps, etc is going to be a challenge! I wish they opened up park hours and EMH/L...
