As much as it sometimes sucks, there’s usually a good entertainment reason for an attraction to be replaced … although there are exceptions (20,000 Leagues being one of them). Nostalgia aside, the reality is that World of Motion wasn’t a good ride and neither was Wonders of Life (speed had nothing t...
It’s interesting to me that most of the pro-WoM comments are due to nostalgia or because of one slightly memorable, but not really amazing scene—not because it was a better attraction than Test Track. Personally, I think WoM was a below average dark ride—especially compared it its neighbor, Horizons...
As I was listening to the float through of WoM, it got me thinking about what most prefer ... the old or the new? Pros of World of Motion: Dark ride, cool animatronics, a history lesson, clever humor Cons of World of Motion Not a lot of character (no memorable characters or scenes), ride vehicle tra...
Sorry if this doesn't warrant an entire new topic, but I was curious if you kept track of like the 20 most requested songs/tracks or anything like that? I'd be curious to know the least requested songs too, but give the giant size of your database, there are probably quite a few that never get picked.
How about adding the Jedi Training Academy Show? And can we delete the heck out of the train announcements track that repeats the same thing over and over again for 5 minutes?
I have fond memories as a little kid of Horizon’s, World of Motion, and 20,000 Leagues … it’d be neat to go to back to the 80s and 90s as an adult to see if they could entertain me the way Pirates and the Haunted Mansion still do. Or if I would find them tired and lame ...
Am I the only one who feels that Test Track is hugely overrated? It may be the fastest ride in all of Disney, but I’ve ridden in many convertibles before, and that’s all the climax of the ride is with some banking added in. I suppose if the name of the game was to add some thrill over World of Motio...
Oh, and bring back 20,000 Leagues under the Sea, improve Autopia (good idea still, just need to hit the ‘refresh’ button), a reimagineered Mr Toad’s Wild Ride, an updated CoP, and something based on time travel for tomorrowland (that will never not be futuristic).
