Re: Video of Mystic Manor

Hmmm...interesting. Visually it's very nice, but I have reservations about the story. It almost feels more like Journey into Imagination to me, numerous set pieces that are thinly linked together. Weird jumps from Pompeii to medievel arms and armor to Monkey King. Maybe when you're actually going th...

Re: Food debates

Me too, plain pretzel with minimum of salt. Add to that a cold beverage.

Re: Food debates

I'm with you, Amy, the fresh caramel corn is hard to beat. A big plus to me is that it doesn't have those little husks that plain popcorn has, always stop somewhere in your throat

Re: First time flying to Cali

This has nothing to do with a trip to DLR, but never having flown into SoCal, I too am wondering about flying in. I'll be working in Pasadena in June and planned on flying into ONT. Thoughts? You would be much happier with Burbank or, if you have to, LAX. Burbank is very close to Pasadena so makes ...

Re: First time flying to Cali

I definitely concur with Wiz, with a strong preference for SNA over LAX. Flying into and even staying in Orange County is a much saner way to enjoy your trip. Not knowing your overall plans, there are just many places to visit, nicer beaches, and shopping is much easier, far less congested than LA.

Re: Growing Up With Mickey

Big Kudos again for the wonderful job you and your wife have done this year with the weekly photos and all the little extras, right up to the birthday invitations. Your son will have a ball later on when he can watch himself "grow up." Looking forward to some party pics, I'm sure it'll be ...

Re: The Background of the Background Music

Guess I'll be repeating other posts, but Thank You for the link to the article; definitely interesting, especially to those of us who are very conscious of the music in the Parks. I may miss a Hidden Mickey :mickey: but I always hear the music.

Re: Marc Davis Centennial Dinner INSIDE the HM

Wow ~ you knew both Marc Davis and Alice? That's pretty neat! I'm sure we'd love to hear the story of how you met if you'd like to share :D Sure, but it was only because I had the good fortune to have a friend from college who worked at Disney Studios in Burbank in the '80's -90's. He basically fou...

Re: Marc Davis Centennial Dinner INSIDE the HM

I'm so glad that Disney sometimes really gives a nod to the wonderful history and people that brought so much enjoyment. I was very fortunate to know Marc Davis and Alice - two talented, fascinating, and gracious people. What a great tribute dinner!

Re: No polka dots? NO WAY!!!

Aww, it's OK, just a temporary "Minnie plays dress-up", not a permanent makeover. I can't blame her for wanting to wear something different once in a while. Might as well go with a famous French designer :mickey:

Re: Hidden and Unintentional Mickey's

Nah, not blind; I'm like you, rarely notice them. I think it's because we are taking in the full scope of our surroundings. It's only been during years when I have an AP that I take more time to just hang out and look at details. I do get a kick out of the photos though and that Imagineering sneaks ...

He is just a little super star! I'm so envious of the awesome way of documenting his first year. Love the new digital age!
