I've heard different things about the ride itself...do you guys have any say on it? Is it basically the same ride inside and the just replaced gear and what not or did they put in a new space mountain experience set to thrill those who ride it?

You're right about it opening after he passed on. My understanding is that it was his favorite as he knew what it was like. Speaking of unsafe rides, have they opened up the Sailing Ship Colombia after the death they had a couple of years ago? I'm in college now, and can't go as often anymore seeing how I'm across the country, so I didn't know if they re-opened it for the 50th or something.

Walt's favorite ride while he was alive was Pirates of the Caribbean.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was based upon Bryse Canyon in Utah.
Walt used to hang out above town hall and watch all of the visitors.
