Re: last ride in

Last time I was there, I ended the day with a 3rd and final ride on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Usually, though, I end up in Tomorrowland at the end of the day, but for some reason, I find the water rides (especially Splash Mountain) to be most enjoyable at night.

Re: Splash Mountain

I'm glad it is open now. It was closed when I was there last Spring, and it was really unfortunate to see the mountain covered in scaffolding. There's nothing better than the smell of Splash Mountain!

Re: Favorite Disneyland Resort Lunch Spots

Because of the price for food at Disneyland, I rarely have an opportunity to eat there, but when I do, I always seem to end up at Red Rockett's Pizza Port in Tomorrowland. I love the old attraction posters there (as well as the rest of the atmosphere), and the pizza is great. In addition, the eating...

Re: DCA Gets A Worthy Overhaul Budget

Wow! From what I've heard/seen of the new entrance, it seems well worth the money! I think that the throwback to the time of Walt's Arrival to the west will be a great addition to the park. As weak as Cars was for a Pixar film, I think that the plans for Cars Land look great.

Critter Country refurbishment (2011)

Hey DL fans,

Do any of you know the changes that have been made to Critter Country during its refurbishment last Spring? Critter Country and Splash Mountain were closed for a bit and covered in scaffolding. :mickey:

Re: Favorite Disneyland Resort Lunch Spots

On my last trip to Disneyland, I stopped by the Bengal Barbecue in Adventureland for the first time. I had a kebob and was surprised how delicious it was for its relatively-small price! I definitely recommend them to anyone that doesn't want to stop to have a big meal, but would rather have an appet...

Re: When was your last visit to Disneyland?

I visited Disneyland last April, and I generally visit the park every 3-4 years. It was an amazing trip, but unfortunately Splash Mountain was closed for refurbishment. I can't wait to go back, maybe as soon as next summer!

Re: Tom Sawyer Island may be replaced by "Lost" T.V Sh

This better not happen. Tom Sawyer Island is a classic while Lost (though I've heard good things about) just doesn't fit the style of Disneyland. Frontierland, after all, is about the incorporation of the past frontier days, not the present.

Hopefully Not...

I think that the astro orbitor is great how it is, and that Disney should keep it the way it is. I also think that an upgraded version of the people mover should be installed on the original people mover track/platform.

Early November

I went in early November and it was great because there was barely anyone there and the park staff had just put up the Christmas decorations.
