Re: Dateline Disneyland
You know, I post occasionally on these boards to get away from work and to take my mind off of all of the crap that I have to do on a regular basis. I deal with a lot of crap and a lot of crappy people on a regular basis, and this offers me a way to forget about that. You know, a little bit of that ...

Re: Dateline Disneyland
I can understand a name, but as I bring actual evidence to the table (as in their liquor license) and you can't, I am going to say that you are just talking about a rumor not fact. So until you can show Club 33's license, I call BS. The only evidence you brought is the current permit. So you also d...

Re: Dateline Disneyland
I don't know why you cannot understand that it can have both a physical address and a physical location. I saw a copy of the liquor license a few years back and I believe what the club management told me when I was visiting for a special event. You don't have to believe it. I have linked a copy of a...

All I can offer is that it did in 1967.Wizzard419 wrote:But the license lists the enterprise using it (Club 33 in this example), which isn't the address. Hence why their liquor license does not have the words "33 Royal Street" anywhere on it because it isn't a real location.

Re: Dateline Disneyland
Disneyland has one general delivery address. That address was on West st. West st. is now Disneyland Drive. When you submit for an alcohol permit for an address that is like a campus, you have to be specific to where the license will be utilized. The original liquor license for Club 33 listed the sh...

Re: Dateline Disneyland
It actually is different, as 33 royal st makes no appearance on their application and no mail gets delivered to it. It is just a name they gave an establishment. I can call my house "∞5318008∀ Meatstick Drive" it doesn't change the address. If you dropped a letter in the mail and with the...

Re: Dateline Disneyland
Because Royal St. isn't a real street in Anaheim, they probably didn't use it for the license. When it comes to liquor and food service, you can't get cute and make up fake locations. That is why it had the old delivery address on west street. HAving the "33 Royal Street, New Orleans Square, D...

Re: Dateline Disneyland
From what I was told, they numbered the buildings in NOS prior to them applying for the liquor license. Once they applied for the license, they simply put 33 Royal Street, New Orleans Square, Disneyland (and then the delivery address on West st). When they got the liquor license back, the license sa...

Re: Dateline Disneyland
Oh, and because I love watching the butt-hurt flow, the court of angels has closed. I find it interesting whenever they do something that people think "walt wouldn't approve" or something that takes space away from the average guest, people go ballistic. However, you remind them that the ...

Re: Dateline Disneyland
According to what I have read, they told the members that construction was going to start on Monday 10/6 on the new lounge and lobby. That is why the lunch buffet ended. The space where they stored the buffet tables is the space that is being turned into the lounge.

Re: I have only ......... days/months till I go again.
And might I add, luckiest Venture Crew ever! What part of Cali are you from? My brother that lives out there is active with the B.S. and Venture crews. Both his kids have aged out of the program now, but he is as active as ever. They had a few problems this past weekend because they had a permit to...

Re: I have only ......... days/months till I go again.
I've only been to WDW twice, both times in July, and both times by myself because I had other business in the area. Not so much fun weather wise. Started sprinkling when I was at Epcot and I chuckled as everyone ran for cover. Laugh was on me as I was thoroughly soaked inside of a minute. I was lean...

Re: I have only ......... days/months till I go again.
My wife finally gave in and said we could go to WDW! So, being a Californian that knows little about WDW, when is the best time to visit?
11 days until I take a Venturing Crew to Disneyland!

Re: Dateline Disneyland
So are the Starbucks prices in the parks comparable to prices outside the gates of Disneyland? I'm thinking the average guest will not notice the difference in scale between the new Starbucks and the rest of the Main Street stores. Not only are the listed prices the same, but you can use your AP di...
